Two years ago, I gave birth to my wonderful, precious little baby girl. This is the first time I really got to hold her right after she was born. Paul was so awesome to catch this shot of us.
All 6lbs, 7oz of her, and when we brought her home, she was only 5lbs, 2oz. She was, and still is, our little littles (a name I have called her since birth). After the birth of her brothers (Brendan was 8lbs, 11oz, and Alex was 9lbs, 11.7oz), I thought for sure the drs and nurses were lying when they told me how big she was. Nope, they weren't, and she has forever been smaller then others her age.
Here she is at 4 months old:
Yep, still has him wrapped around her little finger (as she has all of us, including her brothers).
At 5 months old:
Oh my, oh my, and again, major oh my...never were truer words ever said.
At almost 6 months old, some of our last photos while we lived in Maine.
This photo was taken while we were visiting her Granny nanny (my grandmother), over a year and a half ago.
At her first Halloween:
Her first Christmas:
Her First Steps:
Her first bday:
Her first cover (ok, her only cover, and mine too...still proud of that ;)):
At 14 months (seriously, putting this up here so I can see just how little she once really was!):
At 18 months:
And, at just about at age 2:
She is full of spirit, full of life, loves to laugh, is totally in LOVE with Elmo (Melmo is what she calls him!), must sleep with her 'gankie' (blankie) every night, and still loves her ba ba (bottle). She is also a force to be reckoned with, so watch out, I promise you, she will get her way in the end (Dad, I think she may have gotten this from you and I ;)). She loves to spend time reading, loves loves loves her brothers, so loves being a 'mommy' to all of her babies that she has collected, and is starting to show just how much of a terror she just may be at the age of two. All in all, she is Caitlynn Deborah (after my mom) Helen (after her Granny Nanny), born February 21st, a 3 weeks, 6 days early, 6 lbs, 7 oz, 18 1/2 inches long...and mommy's life saver (it was because of Miss C that I found out I had a blood clotting disorder...if I hadn't had been pregnant with her, I really don't think I would have ever found out). I love you more then you will ever know, my little baby girl, more then you will ever ever know. Happy happy birthday!!!!
I hope to have photos of the big day later on!
